The return to face-to-face activity at the Berlin International Trade Fair has given us the opportunity to meet again with the hotel sales channels integrated with Dingus®. In addition, we have been able to establish new partnerships and strengthen our commitment with strategic allies, not only in the German market, but also globally.

Milena Galindo, Dingus® Connectivity & Partnership Manager de Dingus®, Milena Galindo dedicated the trade fair days to gather the impressions of the operators of the integration portfolio, to establish new contacts and to listen to the proposals of the members of our distribution map to improve the capacity of the connected hotels. As in all the fairs we attended, ITB was also an important event to learn about trends in technology and tourism distribution.

We valued very positively the opportunity to visit Dingus® partners and customers in the Balearic Islands, Canary Islands and Andalusia, which were the three Spanish autonomous communities with an outstanding presence at the fair. And of course, of the different international destinations in which we operate as a technology provider.

After the last online editions due to the Covid pandemic, this 2023 the German trade fair has returned to the on-site modality, but exclusively for B2B meetings between professionals and reducing its duration from five days to three. The fair welcomed 90,127 visitors from more than 180 countries and 5,500 exhibitors from 161 countries and regions. Organisations such as the World Tourism Organisation focused this year on the importance of the private sector in rebuilding tourism in a more sustainable, resilient and inclusive way”.

Click2023 with Booking.com

Next on the calendar of Dingus®’s participation in key events will take us to Amsterdam to attend Booking.com’s Click2023. As a Premier Partner, we will be at the event where the travel and accommodation platform presents its latest developments and makes its most important announcements for the industry.

On this occasion, Jaume Monserrat and Milena Galindo will once again be able to share the conference organised by Booking.com and “gauge the trends in technology for hotel distribution based on the approaches of the hosts and the needs and opportunities presented by the clients”.

Dingus® was recognised as a Booking.com Premier Partner in 2020, and has renewed that status each year by passing an existing scoring scheme that began with the standard category, continued with the advanced level and concluded with the premier status that places us among the “best and most valuable connectivity service providersfor the platform, thanks to superior connection quality.
