The Colombian Association of Travel Agencies and Tourism – ANATO, has just closed the 44th edition of Vitrina Turística, the business scenario “most important for the promotion of Colombia and the world, where industry professionals had the opportunity to meet the supply of tourism products and services from more than 32 countries and all Colombian regions.” In 2025, Vitrina Turística has welcomed more than 1,200 exhibitors and co-exhibitors and more than 52,000 professional visitors ‘in search of business alliances for the consolidation of the sector’, through the more than 16,000 appointments scheduled.
In 2024, the Colombian country recorded an 8.5% increase in the number of visitors: 6.7 million foreign tourists arrived, reinforcing tourism as one of the main economic drivers. And in this destination, Dingus has a growing portfolio of clients that currently have almost 2,500 rooms connected to our hotel distribution and sales technology. But the prospects are that the portfolio will continue to grow, both in Colombia and in the Caribbean islands that have been promoting themselves at the tourism fair, destinations whose hoteliers José Luis Tovilla has been meeting these days. For the Latam sales specialist, “the impact of our business in the Latin American market can be measured by the commitment of the major hotel chains, which have found in Dingus a strategic partner. They tell us that it is mainly because it facilitates sales management and because of the more than 500 integrations of different types that we offer.”
Dingus’ next trade fair in this part of the world will be the Gala Vallarta in Nayarit (Mexico) on 20 and 21 March, while our teams in Europe are currently busy at the ITB (Berlin) and the BTL in Lisbon.
