The Latin America International Tourism Fair (FIT), held in Buenos Aires, not only broke its own record for visitors and business, but also confirmed that tourism is a driver of development in LATAM. Specifically, technological innovation was one of the key factors in an event supported by 59 countries, more than 1,900 exhibitors, and nearly 11,000 scheduled meetings.
This was the context in which José Luis Tovilla and Sofía Amat presented Dingus’ proposal to potential clients in Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, and Colombia, destinations where interest in our technology is growing to “simplify hotel distribution, optimize revenue, and connect where others cannot.” The team was able to confirm “the strong interest from wholesalers, retailers, OTAs, and tour operators from Mexico and Latin America” in connecting with Dingus and becoming part of our distribution map.
FIT 2025 was also an opportunity to reconnect with clients and sales operators we work with in the LATAM region, who highlighted the functionality and practicality of our platform.
Overall, and as a general assessment, we all agreed with the organizers that “innovation is no longer a trend but has become a central topic in tourism conversations” at this forum.
