• In October, Dingus will offer two free, blended learning courses offered by the public company of the Government of the Canary Islands HECANSA (Hoteles Escuela de Canarias). The courses ‘Booking Engine-Roomonline’ and ‘CRS and Channel Manager-Bookincenter’ will be offered in Santa Cruz de Tenerife from the 1st to the 9th of October and in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria from the 18th to the 26th of the same month.

Within the framework of the training and dynamisation plan for digitalisation in destinations financed by the Secretary of State for Tourism (Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism), the Government of the Canary Islands and the public company HECANSA have scheduled two training courses to be given by Dingus in October. The technology provider for tourism marketing will be responsible for 42 hours of training in mixed mode, face-to-face and online, aimed at hospitality professionals in the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands.

Abigaíl Hernandorena, Customer Service Specialist at Dingus, will be in charge of bringing the contents offered to those enrolled in the Hoteles Escuela de Canarias training, for which there are still places available by clicking here. Both in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (1 to 9/10) and in Santa Cruz de Tenerife (18 to 26/10) Dingus will focus on the CRS-Channel Manager, Bookincenter, to provide at least an overview of what has meant “the irruption of channel managers in hotel marketing, and that you can learn about the different business models of each of the sales channels that comprise our distribution map“. With the example of the Roomonline booking engine, students will be introduced “to the management of the hotel’s own website and booking engine, discovering the main concepts and functionalities that contribute to generating more sales, as well as offering an overview of the digital environment oriented towards the hotel sector. We will also provide information on the most relevant digital marketing tools, as well as the interrelation of the channel manager and a CRS with the web sales channel”.

The sessions will also address specific aspects of Dingus technology for the management of rates, inventory or channels, the search for prices and availability, or the creation, modification and cancellation of reservations, among many others. And all this with the commitment of Dingus for the training of students and professionals in new technologies for tourism, which are increasingly indispensable
