Vitrina Turística organized by the Colombian Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies (ANATO) once again reaffirmed its role as a key event for the sector in the Andean country. In this edition, Dingus identified new trends, strengthened strategic alliances, and explored growth opportunities for the company.

Without overlooking the concern generated by the geopolitical situation in various scenarios -some of them very close- the tourism industry gathered at the Bogotá fair “has renewed its commitment to diversifying markets and strengthening new connectivity routes within the Latin American and South American region.” This was highlighted by José Luis Tovilla, LATAM Office Manager at Dingus, who noted that during the event “Colombia showed a strong interest in strengthening its connections with Europe, North America, and the Southern Cone, especially Argentina and Brazil,” in a context of sustained growth in inbound tourism.

In this scenario, Cartagena de Indias is once again positioned as the leading destination: not only is it the main arrival point for much of the tour operation connected to Dingus, but also “a market where we already have a solid customer base and a growing interest in our proposal.”

The Colombian fair allowed us to strengthen our presence in Latin America, holding key meetings with professionals from Panama, Colombia, and Peru, as well as Caribbean countries such as Curaçao and Barbados, among others. These markets “are showing strong interest in improving and expanding their technological connectivity, which is essential to boost hotel commercialization and professionalize their distribution processes.”

Agencies interested in integrating with Dingus technology

One of the most notable aspects of this edition of the Vitrina Turística was the increase in interest from new agencies. Many of them, although currently operating without full connectivity, come recommended by Dingus’ hotel clients and seek to integrate with the platform to gain visibility, commercial dynamism, and access to a more robust technological ecosystem.

According to Tovilla and Amat, this trend reflects the growing need to professionalize tourism distribution in the region and represents an opportunity for Dingus to strengthen its role as a strategic partner for hotels, agencies, and a broad portfolio of operators seeking modern, stable, and scalable connectivity.
