• In the 43rd edition of the event, which is being held this year in Mazatlan (Sinaloa), we will meet with hoteliers from the main Mexican tourist destinations and the channels that operate in the area.

A few days before the start of the 2018 edition of the ‘Tianguis Turístico’ Dingus Mexico has already closed an agenda of more than seventy personal meetings with hoteliers from major tourist destinations, such as Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, Riviera Nayarit and Acapulco. In addition, contacts have been established with the tourist promotion offices and the most representative channels operating in the destination.

Being a fair where the tourist distribution channels and our clients coincide, Víctor Lorenzo and José Luis Tovilla (director and commercial delegate of Dingus Mexico, respectively) will travel to the Tianguis with the intention to catch up with customer connectivity priorities “making initial contact with channels to increase our portfolio”. In fact “the main objective of the fair -says Lorenzo- is the positioning of the brand and the generation of leads, taking as the central axis of our commercialization the new connectivities with the USA and Canada markets that are being developed in our 2018 strategy”.

‘Tianguis Turístico’ is the most important event for this industry in Mexico, with the participation of entrepreneurs, hoteliers, travel agents, incoming operators, tour operators, meeting planners and specialized media from more than 80 countries. This year’s edition, number 43, will take place in Mazatlan (Sinaloa), known as’the pearl of the Pacific’ because it is a destination that combines sun and beach with a unique beauty among other tourist areas of the country. For this reason, our colleagues say, it is the perfect scenario for Mexico to continue its commitment to tourism. Currently, it generates three out of ten formal jobs, represents 9.0% of GDP, is the third largest source of foreign exchange and makes Mexico the eighth most visited country in the world”.

Dingus Mexico will dedicate the days prior to the imminent fair to explore the Mexican Pacific, both the consolidated area of Puerto Vallarta and the emerging destinations of Nuevo Vallarta, Punta Mita and Sayulita (known as the Riviera Nayarit), where we hope to have a presence very soon.
