Grupotel opened its first hotel in a coastal village in Mallorca in 1968, and over the following years built a chain “where families can enjoy unforgettable holidays in complete resorts and couples can enjoy romantic getaways in adults-only hotels with a spa and wellness concept.” Today, Grupotel Hotels & Resorts is considered one of the leading hotel companies in Spain, consistently appearing in the country’s most important hotel rankings and “recognised for its impeccable service and high value offered to its guests, as well as for its commitment to the planet and society”. Among its many awards and accolades, the most recent stands out: the five-star Grupotel Parc Natural & Spa has been named the best beach hotel in the world by HolidayCheck 2024. This year, Forbes Spain has also included the Majorcan chain among the 15 leading groups in the sector.
