The last edition of the Tianguis Turístico de México, held in Acapulco this 2019, closed its doors last April 10th. The organizers make a positive balance, with transactions valued at 424 million pesos (6% more than last year) and almost 47,400 business appointments. Among the products most in demand at the fair, were sun and beach, culture, nature, tourism meetings, adventure, romantic, and the offer of incentives. Nearly 600 exhibitors and 900 companies from five continents took part.

In this interesting context for the promotion and sale of tourism, Dingus had the opportunity to approach its customers in the area and contact hotel chains and independent establishments interested in our suite of technological solutions for distribution and sales.

The expedition, made up of several of our colleagues from the commercial department in Spain and Cancun, carried out almost a hundred meetings that in the coming weeks will increase the presence of our brand in the country and other areas of the Caribbean and Latin America.

Dingus would like to thank all the companies interested in our solvency and presence in the market for their time, backed by a client catalogue that exceeds 1,200 hotels in 25 countries, more than 17,000 reservations managed every day, more than 15,500 active connectivities and 10 M€ managed daily. We achieved this with Bookincenter and MyChannel, two solutions that coexist with all the functionalities necessary to meet the objectives of hotel sales management.

At Tianguis Turístico we have also been able to provide information on the capabilities of Roomonline, an integral tool dedicated to the development of direct sales through the hotel’s corporate website, and of course Book&Payment, the secure payment platform certified in the PCI standard of the credit card industry. In fact, Acapulco has been particularly interested in its advantages for card data transaction, card validation, redemption and tokenization, PCI Compliance payment gateway sending, fixed amount pre-authorization and collection automation, among others.

Next appointment: Benidorm

The next appointment planned by Dingus is scheduled for next May 7, when we will hold one of our hotel meetings.
