CaixaBank Hotels & Tourism, the line of business to consolidate the entity’s leadership in the tourism market, was the organizer of the round table dedicated to technological solutions that can address the problems related to the management of online payments for hotel customers. The CFO and co-founder of Dingus participated in the debate along with representatives from Comercia Global Payments, Mirai, Whitbookin and RoomRaccoon.

Juan Tomás-Verdera presented the platform for the comprehensive management of Dingus collections, designed to ensure compliance with the payment card industry standard known as PCI DSS. Tomás-Verdera said that Book&Payment not only reduces fraud, but also increases security and optimizes collection processes, speeding up telephone sales. In addition, it makes it possible to broaden the vision of hotel sales, unifying Cashflow and Revenue in real time“.

Following the presentation of Book&Payment at Fitur 2018, in this new edition we have already been able to consider the advantages of our solution for managing the collection of bookings and the security of credit cards sent through the different channels. Among them, this PCI certification “that has the capacity to capture credit card data and send them to the payment gateway selected by the hotel, allowing the collection of the reservation in a secure manner and complying with the legislation regarding the protection of card data”. Dingus’ CFO said in his speech that “the business rules offered by Book&Payment allow simplifying, facilitating and optimizing the financial management of a hotel, working on the data of reservations and payment processes. And all this, saving time and risks for the hotel“.

In May of last year, and thanks to the collaboration between Comercia Global Payments, the payment gateway ADDON Payments, Garden Hotels and Dingus, we had the opportunity to realize the pilot project of Book&Payment. We verified that the platform, among other possibilities, allows our clients to operate the transactions with total security and tranquility, since the contact center complies with PCI standards and the business is protected financially and legally.

In addition, our technology solution also complies with the ISO 27001 Cybersecurity standard. In terms of benefits for the hotel, some of its features include the prepaid option, connection to multiple payment gateways, web and mobileApp access and integration with all Dingus products.
