• Intense week of work in Cancun to know the tendencies 2018 in Caribbean and the concerns of all the tourist segment in the zone

Completely satisfactory. This was the last week for the delegations of Dingus Spain and Dingus Mexico, gathered on the occasion of the Cancun Travel Mart. The last edition of the most important tourism fair for the Caribbean market was closed with a sales expectation of 3,500 million dollars and the participation of 313 delegates buyers, 332 suppliers, 93 stands and thousands of business appointments.

In Mexico Summit 2017 we had the opportunity to visit our main customers in the area and take the pulse of the tourism sector for next year. We were also able to know the needs that can be generated in that market during the next months. All this from the perspective of the tools and technological solutions we can offer for online distribution.

Like every year, we also celebrate the traditional Dingus meeting with customers and partners in Mexico. On this occasion, and in the words of the director general of the organization, Víctor Sánchez, “our ‘Friends & Connected’ allowed us to bring together a number of companies from different segments, such as tour operators, online agencies, service companies, excursion providers and complementary offer… a valuable group of knowledgeable about the trends that may be most important for our customers in the Mexican country in particular and in the Caribbean in general”.

For his part, the director of the office of Dingus in Mexico, Víctor Lorenzo, stressed about this meeting that “change only happens to the extent that we are open to opportunities. And these, at present, come from the hand of technology and people with ideas”. In this way, adds Lorenzo, “in the afterwork we were able to talk colloquially about these ideas of the future and the goals of our partners and clients, something that encourages us to continue improving and growing.”

From Dingus we want to thank all the attendees for their involvement in the event held at our corporate offices in Quintana Roo, and particularly to Bookolis and Alltournative (two extraordinary service companies and tourist activities in the destination) their collaboration to make it a success.
