• Whether it is to advise, explore possibilities, expand our capabilities as a supplier or evaluate new projects, Dingus’ policy of alliances and accompaniment to its customers and partners will intensify during the coming year.

Dealing in person with our clients, participating in our partners’ projects: these are two of the activities in which we have focused in the second half of this year, and a strategy that will be maintained and increased during 2019. Being part of the ecosystem of developers and suppliers of technology for tourism distribution with our Etoolinnovation and Dingus brands does not mean that Hitt Group should lose direct contact with those to whom our products and services are directed, and with those who can help us improve them.

A clear example of this strategy is the recent participation in the Click 2018 event of Booking.com as a preferred technology partner. At the meeting in Amsterdam, which was attended by Jaume Monserrat, we not only had the opportunity to get to know first hand the short and medium-term objectives of OTA, but also to exchange impressions of the market, tourism and the state of the art of technology. As the CEO of Hitt Group points out, “in recent years we have been developing a strategy to increase the capacity for integration with channels, with the aim of maximizing the sales of our clients. At Booking.com and its commitment to customer experience, we found a convergence of objectives highly aligned with our contribution of value to the hotel“. To this end we have already completed the roadmap in the short term to incorporate new features of the API Booking.com, which will benefit from next year Dingus customers”.

In the same line of collaboration, last October we celebrated the second meeting with hotels in Gran Canaria. Our implantation and sales colleagues were able to explain the work of their respective departments, as well as the new products and functionalities in which they work, personally resolving any doubts or concerns raised. The event – whose summary is available by clicking here – also provided attendees with the keys to Booking.com for optimizing hosting and connectivity. ADDON Payments also accompanied us as an outstanding partner, supporting our Book&Payment platform for PCI DSS compliance. Although this is only one of the advantages of our new technological bet, which is currently being publicized and promoted in various events.

Book&Payment (PCI-Collection Manager) and the rest of products and services, such as Bookincenter and Roomonline, are part of the catalogue that the Dingus team in Mexico has just presented during the recent Cancun Travel Mart. In the last edition of the fair the appointments and meetings with customers in the Caribbean (and who will be in the near future) also served to introduce the new members of the company in the country, Gustavo Hernandez and Eduardo Cruz, Sales Manager and Caribbean Support Manager, respectively.

Attendance at the next tourist fairs is already being prepared at Dingus Spain. From the 5th to the 7th of November we will take part, once again, in the World Travel Market in London, presenting the hotels and channels that operate with the British market all the possibilities that our technology can offer them.

WTM is one of the important forums in our calendar, along with the next edition of Fitur (Madrid, 23-27 January) and ITB (Berlin, 6-10 March). But the latter are already part of the 2019 agenda, a year for which we prepare new events, collaborations and all those meetings that, as indicated at the beginning, allow us direct contact with customers, channels and partners. At Hitt Group we want to continue interacting with proximity, in the first person.
