• This initiative of practical training for students is consolidated in its fourth edition, sponsored by the University of the Balearic Islands and Directbeds

After the success of the three previous editions, Dingus is once again backing the Training Classroom for Accommodation and Intermediation, which allows students of Tourism and the double degree of ADE and Tourism to get closer to the professional reality. This initiative, promoted by Directbeds and the University of the Balearic Islands, will count on our collaboration to reinforce the necessary connection between the academic environment and the practical training of future professionals in the tourism sector. In short, it is about “preparing students to enter the world of work in a personalized way, and applying the guidelines of each participating company”.

This new cycle will begin on 19 November, with a programme that plans to tackle specific training in the areas of accommodation, intermediation and technology, practical sessions in the collaborating companies themselves and “other issues to take into account in the future, ranging from advice for the preparation of a good CV, how to overcome a job interview or how to create a good profile in professional networks”.  As a novelty, on this occasion specific seminars have been designed aimed at highly sought-after profiles in the job market: Guest Service professionals, Product and Yield departments for incomings, or tour operators, E-commerce and Key Accounts, among others.

For Dingus, in addition to explaining our business model and making the technology we develop for tourist distribution and marketing understandable and attractive to the student, participation in the Classroom allows us to incorporate into our staff students who, once the training is over, want to start a professional career with us.
