As president of the International Cluster of Information and Communication Technologies applied to Tourism, the CEO of Dingus represented this week the ICT-Tourism sector at the reception that the kings of Spain offer every summer in the Balearic capital. The meeting at the Almudaina Palace in Palma coincides with the holidays of the royal family on the island of Mallorca and, as in previous years, concentrated a broad representation of civil society.

Jaume Monserrat, as published by the cluster of which we are partners, relates the invitation with “the specific weight that the ICT sector for the tourism industry has been gaining, thanks to projects such as Turistec and the increase in business capacity to develop and implement technology. Representing the cluster in these forums implies the positioning, increasingly broad and recognized, of our partners and collaborating entities”.

According to the same article, the event allowed to share impressions with the maximum responsible of the new autonomic and insular governments (Islas Baleares and Mallorca), as well as of the areas closest to the cluster activity: the tourism and the technology. With all of them, Jaume Monserrat was able to “analyse the situation of the ICT-Tourism sector and, above all, the challenges that will come after the summer period”, which are of special importance for tourism and its technology suppliers.
